1. I am using the boardview Plus Normal or Boardview Plus History and I am only getting price data for NYSE symbols. I want to see NASDAQ too!


Right click on the Boarview, hit Settings and CHECK NYSE only check-box. Hit APPLY and then OK. Save your layout and reopen it.



2. Can I request additional buying power?

We give more buying power to traders who are consistent and profitable. You can request for more buying power by contact us at support@cygrouponline.com.

3. Do I get to keep 100% of my profits?

All traders who make a deposit get to keep 100% of their trading profits. Only traders who are trading backed capital receive a percentage.

4. Do I need a series 7 license to trade with CY Group?

No, CY Group accepts traders without any licenses.

5. Do I receive a salary if CY Group hires me as a trader?

Compensation at CY Group is based on profits from trading. We do not pay our traders a salary. What our traders make from trading is what they take home.

6. Does CY Group hire some one with no trading experience?

Any individual with a desire to trade can apply. We do not require a prerequisite or an educational degree. Many of our traders started off as a novice trader.

7. How do I get started?

You can get started by clicking the employement link at the bottom and filling out the application.

8. How long does the application process take?

Our application process is very quick. Visit our employment page and print out the necessary forms. Follow the instructions and fax in the paperwork. After that, it's just up to you on how fast you want to fund your account. It should take no longer than 3 days.

9. Is CY Group a Brokerage firm?

No, CY Group is a private limited liability corporation formed to manage and trade its own brokerage account. By becoming a sub-contractor, you are given authority to trade the company account.

10. Is remote trading available?

Yes, most of our traders trade from home. If you do not live near any of our branch locations, you can connect remotely to trade. As long as you have a broadband connection, you can trade virtually from anywhere in the world.

11. What are my monthly charges if any?

All traders are responsible for their data fees. Usually this comes out to about $14 a month or less. It is $50 more if the trader chooses to have New York Open Book.

12. What does Rapid Buy/Sell do?

Rapid Buy / Sell:
Selects the top of the offer / bid on the level II. Hit enter to hit that offer / bid.

13. What is the quickest way that I can fund my account?

The quickest way to fund your account is by contacting your current bank and supplying them with our wiring instructions. You can also send a check, which may take up to 10 days to process.

14. What will my responsibilities be as a trader for CY Group?

Your only duty will be to trade, however we do not impose a certain trading strategy to any of our traders. Traders at CY Group can use any strategy they wish to make their profits.

15. When can I withdraw my security deposit or profits?

You may withdraw at any time. However, we discourage traders from requesting funds every week. Usually traders get paid once a month by check or bank wire.

16. Why do I need to deposit $5,000 risk capital?

We require our traders to deposit some risk capital because it is off of this capital you receive your leverage. We have found traders who put up some of their own capital tend to trade more seriously. They tend to learn risk management the right way when they invest in themselves.
