Command Center

Laser uses a unique command prompt system which allows users to input traditional commands to execute orders. To open the command center:

VIEW -> COMMAND CENTER

This will open up the command center. This is Laser's version of the "Dos prompt".

Basic Commands:

bid 100 ibm 94.10 nyse
= place bid 100 shares to buy IBM at 94.10 using NYSE

bid 200 ibm 94.10 isld
= place bid 200 shares to buy IBM at 94.10 using ISLAND

bid 500 ibm 94.10 arca
= place bid 500 shares to buy IBM at 94.10 using ARCA

offer 300 ibm 94.80 nyse
= place offer 300 shares to sell IBM at 94.80 using NYSE

offer 100 ibm 94.80 nyse | offer 200 csco 27.10 isld
= place two orders!
first, place offer 100 shares to sell IBM at 94.80 using NYSE
second, place offer 200 shares to sell CSCO at 27.10 using ISLAND.

Use " | " to seperate multiple orders.

 

 

 

 

 

Market On Close

Nasdaq Stocks

Let's say you have a basket of nasdaq stocks and you wish to close out all on market on close.
1. Trade -> Supermontage Order Options -> TIF -> MOC
2. Trade -> Close Out -> Soes Market Close Out All
3. Must send at least 10 minutes before close 3:50pm EST.

Let's say you have a single nasdaq stock CSCO which you want to close out at market close.
1. Trade -> Supermontage Order Options -> TIF -> MOC
2. In level 2 change to CSCO.
2. Select Route = SOES.
3. Select Type = MARKET
4. Change share size.
5. Click on either buy or sell to send order.
3. Must send at least 10 minutes before close 3:50pm EST.

NYSE Stocks

Let's say you are in IBM and wish to cover on the closing market price.
1. In level 2 change to IBM.
2. Select Route = NYF-DOT.
3. Select Type = MOC,
4. Change share size.
5. Click on either buy or sell to send oder.
